What is Pax?
One piece of content takes the stage at a time. You write your take before seeing anyone else's. After you share, all perspectives are revealed at once. When the stage ends, a synthesis captures what the group thought together.
What is blind contribution?
You write your perspective before seeing anyone else's. Once you submit, others' takes appear — and the discussion begins. No groupthink. No bandwagon effect. Just honest, independent thinking.
What is the synthesis?
After a stage ends and the floor closes, Pax generates a synthesis of the discussion — key themes, notable takes, and patterns in how people responded. It's a lasting artifact that captures what the group thought, not just what individuals said. Paid tiers can export it as PDF or embed it anywhere. Creators also receive exclusive insights including audience sentiment and content suggestions.
Why do takes appear in a different order for each person?
Pax shuffles takes so every voice gets equal visibility. Most platforms sort by popularity or recency, which buries most contributions. Our "Discover" mode gives each take the same chance of being read first — everyone sees a different order, so no take is permanently buried. You can switch to "Top" to see the most upvoted takes.
What are the subscription tiers?
Pax gives you the complete experience. Thinker adds expression tools and extended features. Creator adds professional publishing tools, synthesis, and analytics. See pricing →
How do I publish a piece?
When you publish, readers contribute blind takes, replies, and reactions during a 60-minute live window. Afterward, your piece is archived with a Pax Synthesis. Paid tiers can select an exact time slot. You can publish one piece per day.
Can I edit my take?
Yes — you have a 2-minute window after submitting to edit your take. After that, it's locked in. This keeps the blind contribution honest while giving you a moment to fix typos or sharpen your thought.
What are anonymous takes?
Thinker and Creator subscribers can submit up to 2 anonymous takes per week. Your name and avatar are hidden — other participants see a generic placeholder instead. Useful when you want your idea to stand entirely on its own.
What counts as a highlighted contribution?
Three ways: pinned by the author, upvoted by 3+ people, or featured in the Pax synthesis as a notable take.
How do streaks work?
Any daily participation counts: sharing a take, reacting, upvoting, or replying. Miss a day? A streak freeze auto-protects you (1/week for Pax, 3/week for Thinker/Creator).
What is a Verified Contributor?
A badge earned through sustained quality participation: highlighted takes across multiple discussions, consistent activity over 7+ days. It proves you're a serious thinker, not a drive-by visitor.
Why does verification exist?
Verification gates the connection system. When you request a conversation with someone, they see your profile and highlighted contributions. Verification ensures only genuine participants can reach out — no spam, no noise.
How do connections work?
See a take that stops you mid-scroll? If you're verified, you can send a spark to request a conversation. The other person has 24 hours to accept. If you both "match" after the conversation, you become permanent contacts with unlimited messaging.
What are sparks?
Sparks are connection attempts. You buy them in packs (5 for €5, 15 for €14, 30 for €25). Send a spark to start a conversation — if you match, the conversation continues. If your request is declined or expires, you get a full refund.
What happens when a stage ends?
For the author, this is the reveal — all blind takes appear at once. The floor opens for replies, reactions, and upvotes. After that, a synthesis is generated with key themes and top takes.
How can I share feedback or report an issue?
We'd love to hear from you! It takes 2–3 minutes. Share your feedback →
